Definition of journalists' safety

Journalists' safety refers to the protection and well-being of journalists as they carry out their professional duties of gathering, verifying, and disseminating information to the public. This includes physical safety from harm or violence, protection of their freedom of expression, and safeguarding against intimidation, harassment, or legal repercussions for their reporting.
