The Worlds of Journalism Study is a cross-national collaborative project assessing the state of journalism in the world through representative surveys with journalists.

In co-operation with UNESCO

UNESCO is the lead UN Agency for promoting freedom of expression and safety of journalists as part of its mandate to “promote the free flow of ideas by word and image”.

PDFs and other documents

Much of the user provided content on safetyofjournalists.org is in the form of PDF documents and other files. In some instances these PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen readers. Wherever possible alternativ HTML based links are provided as well as accessible summaries of the documents.

Disproportionate burden

Where we have used “captcha" buttons to reduce form spam the input field does not have an appropriate label element associated with it. This problem is beyond our control to remedy but we will continue to endeavour to use as few "captcha" elements as possible on our forms.
